Crystal
Reports Consulting
by Ken Hamady
Crystal Reports written for your system:
If you need to create or modify Crystal Reports, you can "rent" me or
one of my associates to do the work. We will create
and deliver your reports through a combination of remote
sessions and Email with no need to come on site. You can
participate as much (or as little) as you like. Not only am I
a Crystal Reports expert, but I also have an accounting degree
and the experience needed to
solve
real business problems. I started
writing reports in 1985 as a manager and
then in 1993 became a full time consultant.
My clients cover just
about every industry and range from individuals and small business to
the World Bank and the White House. I
have
created reports from more systems than I can name and I am now
an
expert at finding my way around a new system. I have
personally
worked with ACCPAC,
Peachtree, Macola, Goldmine,
Raiser's Edge, MAS90 by Sage, and many
others. My associates
have experience in specialized areas such as
JD Edwards, Microsoft
Great Plains, Lawson and IBM Rational.
Call and ask about your application.
Crystal
Reports Deployments:
I also know the best third party tools, including the ones that the
folks at SAP/BO won't tell you about. So, if you want
your users to be able to run reports without having
Crystal Reports installed, I can help you select
and set up the right viewer. Or, if you want
your users to automatically receive daily or weekly reports
via Email I can help you select
and setup an inexpensive scheduler.
Talk to me before you drop several thousand dollars on a
deployment method.

What to do to get started having me create your
report:
1) Prepare examples
of the
output you want. You can Email me a Spreadsheet
mockup, or Fax/Email me an existing hard copy. Call to get
my fax number if needed.
2)
Send
me samples of your
existing Crystal Reports (RPT files), if you have any. Please
send the actual RPT files (not exports or screenshots). If
possible, send reports that are related to
the desired report(s). Even better if you can
preview these RPT files and Save
them with data but RPT files are helpful even
if saved without data. I can sign an NDA if needed.
And if you do not have any RPT files to use, don't worry.
I often have to create them from scratch.
3)
(Optional) Download and install CrossLoop
desktop sharing software. This is a small, simple, secure
and free software package that will allow me to work remotely
through one of the PC's in your office. If you
already have a tool for remote sessions (Webex, Go To Meeting,
etc) we can use that.
4) Payment
or Authorization. The charge for
Crystal Reports consulting is $140 per hour, billed in 15 minute
increments.
Some specialties are slightly higher. Your payment
options include:
